This thread is about one thing: Which of the sprites available for the '09 Christmas dragon is your favorite? Do no post about anything else. Any posts about something other than your favorite sprite, especially a certain occurrence which happened, will receive a warning for spam/possibility to incite drama. This is the only verbal warning that will be giving after this point. I hope you understand this.

Lucivar looked over his shoulder, then looked away.

He had not participated. Zuultah, the Queen of Pruul, had punished him anyway.

He had refused to participate in the revolt. The ringleaders were good men, but they didn’t have the strength, the backbone, or the balls to do what was needed. They didn’t enjoy seeing blood run.

The Cassiline Brotherhood
The Cassiline Brotherhood is an order of priests who swear allegiance to the Precepts of Cassil. Their service is as rigorous and far sterner than that of Naamah. Noble houses often pledge their middle sons to the Brotherhood, sending them off for fostering at the age of ten.

The Cassiline share an affinity with the Yeshuites, who believe alone of Elua 's Companions. They are considered and in fact, they may actually be the Guardians of Yeshua's descendants. Cassiel did not break faith with the One God , but only turned away in shame. Their difference in theology comes in that the Cassilines believe Cassiel took up the duty the One God neglected: loving the son of Yeshua's blood. Interestingly, the Cassiline Order refers to the other companions of Elua as 'The Misguided'.

The ruler of Terre D'Ange is always protected by two respected Cassiline Brothers. While the groups name is Brotherhood, in the last several decades, women have been allowed admittance to its halls and now serve with distinction.

The Cassiline Order is a harsh one, with many strictures and edicts that must be followed by all brothers.

•A Cassiline Brother takes a vow of celibacy upon joining the order. Breaking that oath will result in expulsion.
•A Cassiline Brother may never draw his sword save to kill. In non-lethal contests, they use twin daggers.
•If a Cassiline fails to protect his ward, he will be disgraced and may be released from his bonds or he may choose to return to the order to atone for his failure.
•The final act a Cassiline may perform is referred to as the Terminus. In this action, a Cassiline kills both himself and his ward rather than see them come to harm or capture. This deed has not been performed in living memory.

Notes for those who employ Cassilines;

•A Cassiline is not a servant and will not serve menial tasks.
•A Cassiline will disobey an order deemed unhealthy to his or her ward. The wards wishes are not the aim of the Cassiline, survival is.
•A Cassiline will not act as a thug or armsman, and as such will not hold, block or otherwise enforce the wards will. The Cassiline is a survival tool only.
